Rainier Avenue Radio is hosting a series of debates with candidates from Federal, Statewide, Congressional, Legislative, and Superior/Supreme Court Justice races. Debates will cover a combination of topics in response to issues deemed important to our communities, and specific issues that impact South Seattle residents. The Rainier Avenue Radio debate "rules" will give candidates a time limit for questions, answers and rebuttals as well as the opportunity for brief open and closing statements.
The general public will also have opportunity to submit questions to the moderators prior to debates.
Moderator panelists include Rainier Avenue Radio on-air personalities, local journalists, business leaders, community leaders, activists, local media, and concerned citizens.
RainierAvenueRadio.world is also broadcasting Forums and Debates from partners, including the Gubernatorial Debate, and three Black Candidate Forums (King, Pierce, Snohomish Counties) hosted by The Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle.
Community members will be able to watch and listen LIVE on the Rainier Avenue Radio app or on Facebook, and to listen at www.RainierAvenueRadio.World, on TuneIn or Alexa. You can also watch videos after the broadcast on our YouTube Channel.
RAR Community Election Connection is powered by The Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle and Seattle Academy of Arts and Sciences.
