Strange Coupling is a student run University of Washington School of Art tradition. For 18 years Strange Coupling has bridged the gap between students and the Seattle art community by pairing students and professional artists for a collaborative project. The work they create is then exhibited in a unique and off-campus location. In years past, artists like Gary Hill, Susie Lee, Paul Berger, Anne Fenton, Julia Freeman, Serrah Russell, Alice Gosti, Thunderpussy, and many others. have participated!
