Director Guenneguez will also review available resources offered by NAMI Seattle.
Panelists include:
Leo Flor, Director- King County Department of Community and Human Services (DCHS)
Dr. Katrina Sanford, Clinical Psychologist & Therapist
Anthony Rivers, Program Manager - Seattle King County Public Health
George Dicks, Geriatric Mental Health Specialist - Harborview Medical Center. Chair, HPRC Community Advisory Board
This Town Hall sounds like a powerful and much-needed conversation. Addressing racial and generational trauma is crucial for healing and mental well-being in the Black community. I truly appreciate the effort to highlight available resources. As someone providing online type 2 diabetes education services, I see how mental and physical health are deeply connected—especially in underserved communities.
